China has won, and so has Marxism Leninism
The wild part is that they never wanted to play, they understand that we collectively will only survive together. Marxism Leninism was their foundation that helped build everything they are today. Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is literally the immortal science applied to China’s conditions. They aren’t alone in this by any stretch, but they are the vanguard, and I believe should be looked at as such. I also firmly hold that if the USA asked them for help today they would gladly try and figure out a win win solution, but we all know that Capital and its spear tip the Occupied Territories of Turtle Island are committed to Zero sum victory or death.
People love to argue about “true socialism” and those people (again in my opinion) should be ostrisized from any conversation about it, or how we get to the Communist future we all want. When you look at the different socialist projects across the globe the only thing they have in common are the ways they have used the state to care for the people and raise living standards beyond what anyone could have thought possible. We all know (or at least we should) about the 800 million people China lifted out of absolute poverty ( which for me is the single greatest achievement in human history). Which by the way is their entire population meaning, yes, they have effectively eliminated absolute poverty (meaning they have to and plan to continue the struggle).
Now people will counter with “what about _____” or “what about _____” or “but at what cost” (which is a personal favorite), and to them I say… nothing. Letting others dictate the conversation is how we get down roads that just frustrate and confuse which is capitals only means of fighting back at this stage. So, while I understand the limitations of the state (especially one under global capitals umbrella) the idea that we waste any time on them is outrageous to me and honestly don't matter in the long term if you have a fundamental understanding of Marxism Leninism.
If you listen to Xi speak ( I read his books on the Governance of China on Peertube ) you will hear him point to the five heads (Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao) and their contributions glowingly. He does not ever shy away from the point that everything the CPC (communist Party of China) does flows from them into the daily governing of China today. They are proud of it, and as Marxist Leninists, we should be proud of them. We should be in the streets defending their accomplishments at full volume (not being tepid and wishywashy). I have little patience for people who call themselves “leftists” at this stage honestly, if you can’t study theory you are no good to us as anything but cannon fodder.
Socialism or Barbarism is not just a clever turn of phrase, but an absolute certainty at this point. Making clear where we stand and why should be our driving force every day. The west is collapsing in on itself like a dying sun and we have a chance right now to really help foster in something better, but only together. So get busy educating yourself and others around you, organize with like minded people, agitate where and when you can. The ideological battle is over. Marxism Leninism has won, now we just have to help people see how, and hope we don't all get nuked along the way.
